The Kenwood WF90 improves domestic tap water by reducing unwanted chemicals and impurities. Once the jug is filled, water passes through the supplied water filter cartridge. This cartridge contains a special mixture of activated carbon and food grain resins which filters out the following chemicals and impurities: aluminium, cadmium, chlorine, copper, iron, lead, nitrates and pesticides.
The amount of limestone in the water which causes ‘furring’ in kettles is also reduced. The overall result is an improvemet in the taste of food and drinks. The cartridge should always be replaced every 30 days or 150 litres, whichever comes the sooner.
