Amongst the staff at Pozzani we have a group of keen motorcycle enthusiasts, and in conjuction with a well known local racer and motorcycle test rider, Pete Boast, we have undertaken to sponsor the UK Short Track Series throughout 2011 and 2012. 2011 has seen major new interest in the Pozzani Silkolene Short Track Series, with televised events on Motors TV being aired on Satellite, and a showcase event being held at Silverstone during the Moto GP Weekend.
Uniquely, Short Track UK have run two hugely successful indoor shorttrack events at the fantasic Towerlands venue in Braintree Essex. Last years meeting attracted top shorttrack riders from Europe and riders from the world of speedway and road racing. Last years racers included England international speedway rider Eddy Kennett, HM Plant Honda rider Steve Plater and Isle of Man TT Winner and British Superbike rider, Aidan Collins.
