The DA29-00003G cartridge was released around August 2009, and Samsung fridges made from then onwards -had- to use this model of cartridge.  Basically the design of the G cartridge was made to be backwards compatible with the old model BUT fridges specifically design to use the G cartridge would not accept the older style.  As such the two or three compatible Samsung cartridges on the market, all based on the older B variant, did not fit, leaving owners of newer Samsung fridges no alternative but to buy an Original G-Series cartidge - Until Now!

The Filter Logic FL-293G is a like for like replica of the G-Series cartridges, specifically designed to replace any fridge using the DA29-00003B or the DA29-00003G cartridge.  It is the same height and diameter, meaning you will not have problems with shelf clearances, and customer trials indicate no noticeable taste or functionality difference between the original and this compatible.

Indepedently tested in Japan, it removes chlorine (97.50%), particulates (98.60%) and cysts (99.99%).  As well as improving the taste and odour of the water, it also offers significant lead and mercury reduction like the Samsung original cartridges do.
