Pete Rogers - 02/03/2012 I have and continue to use Pozzani Anti-Scale filters, in Cyprus due to the vaery hard water out there and find this filter to be very effective. |
Tony French - 02/03/2012 Short of a chemical analysis it's always difficult to judge the products - but this does seem to reduce the blueness left in baths and sinks (eaten off copper pipes)- but we are using this for whole-house (cottage) as nowhere to easily place full-house - and we should really have bigger system - which Pozzani were happy to quote for if required. We should really replace this filter more often than every six months - others + ultra-violet lamp for a single drinking water tap (all this from private well supply) can be less frequent. |
Doug Barnes - 10/18/2011 We settled on this because the layout of our water system made it difficult to use a salt based softener to treat our hard water supply. We have been running this filter for around 3 months but unfortunately have seen little or no change to the general hardness of the water and have just recently changed the cartridge in the hope that a fresh cartridge might have some effect. To be honest to date it seems to be a bit of a waste of money which is very disappointing as it was quite expensive to install. We went with Pozzani because we have the under sink system and that seems to work really well but for us this one is ineffective |
Tony French - 09/14/2011 I've used these for several years. I wish they lasted for longer as the position in which we have had to install this - in the loft of an old cottage - makes it a bit of an effort to get at. So I would advise potential users to have the installation in an easy-to-access spot, consistent with filtering before reaching the copper pipes if possible. |
Pete Rogers - 06/14/2011 I use the Pozzani Anti Scale filter, in Cyprus which has very high levels of limescale, and find that this filter is highly effective and cost effective. |
