Product Details

The Maytag UKF7003AXX cartridge is the new replacement designed for ALL of the Maytag fridges that have internally fitting cartridges. It is designed to be a direct replacement for the following models:

UKF7003, UKF70003, UKF7003AXX, UKF70003AXX
UKF7002AXX
UKF7001AXX
UKF6001AXX
UKF5001AXX
SMEG FSRA CARTRIDGE - fitted to fridge models FA561XF/SRA22B*

*Smeg cartridges are actually manufactured by Maytag Corporation. Our cartridges will be supplied in Maytag packaging but are equal in quality and performance to Smeg branded parts.

The cartridge removes pollutants such as sediment, cysts, lead and chlorine - significantly improving the taste of mains water.

The Maytag range of cartridges are designed to be replaced every six months or when the 'replace cartridge' light comes on (if fitted). If the fridge remains unused for any period of time greater than two weeks (e.g. moving house), the manufacturer recommends changing the cartridge.

fast efficient service, with a gentle nudge when your cartridge is about to run out... all in all a 10/10 service. Its difficult to praise more as I have never had to complain, so don't know how they react when things go wrong... I have never had a late delivery, or been charged excessively... so am impressed.. very.

Different packaging to that I am used to and no markings to assist with lining up the cartridge in the unit. However I have had a Maytag fridge for approximately 8 years so know how to do it. It may confuse a first time user though? Also confusion over life expectancy as Maytag states filter should last 1 year and the fridge warning light is based on that but the packaging states 6 months?
