Product Details

The Whirpool 4396508 water filter is the new filter designed to fit all Whirpool fridges that have cartridges fitting in the base grille. It replaces the 4392857, offering better performance including the removal of additional contaminents.

The cartridge is designed to replace any of the part numbers listed below:

The cartridge greatly improves the taste of domestic mains water by removing contaminents such as chlorine, lead, mercury, benzene, carbofuran and most particulate matter.

The Whirlpool range of cartridges are designed to be replaced every six months or when the 'replace cartridge' light comes on (if fitted). If the fridge remains unused for any period of time greater than two weeks (e.g. moving house), the manufacturer recommends changing the cartridge.
