If you have an existing Pozzani IX250, IX600, No10 Twin or RO system then it may be possible to use this to feed your American style refrigerator.

Firstly it is a pre-requisite the fridge uses external cartridges i.e. the cartridge fits inline with the plastic tube behind the fridge NOT within the fridge compartment itself.

Secondly it is necessary to check the path to the fridge from your existing filter - you need to be able to run some tubing from the filter system to the fridge, and obstructions such as doorways can be problematic. If for example your fridge is at the end of your worktop run, then a typical installation would probably involved drilling a small hole in the base of your sink unit (just enough to get the tubing through) and then running the tubing behind the plinth at ground level.

In this installation your tube feeding the tap at your sink is cut, a T-piece is inserted and then the tap/fridge pipes reconnected to the T-piece. Whilst both the fridge and the sink take water from the filter flow is generally not affected unless both units are drawing water at once.

We have added a shut-off valve at customer request so that the fridge line running from under your sink can be isolated from beneath the sink unit in case of an emergency and/or servicing at the fridge.
