Product details

The IX250/IX230-UC cartridges have a four stage filtration system.

Stage One
- Ceramic filtration medium (1 micron) eliminates 99.8% of bacteria and 98% of suspended solids.
Stage Two
- Carbon of high quality with special silver impregnation dramatically reduces chlorine and dissolved organic pollutants such as agro-chemicals, solvents, THM's, TCE's, PCB's, etc.
Stage Three
- Ion Exchange system specific to heavy metals dramatically reduces lead, aluminium, copper, mecury, cadmium, iron, etc.
Stage Four
- Block carbon ultra-efficient stage further reduces chlorine, dissolved organic matter and particulates, finally polishing the water.

First off I was impressed with the price of the initial purchase cost for the Pozzani water filter system. I had plumbers doing some pipe work in house and somehow they got plaster in the cold water feed pipe. Ruined the water filter. No Problem! Ordered a replacement online for my IX250 and a few days later it arrived. Turned off Mains tap (just incase) turned off the feed tap to the filter, pressed tap lever to relieve pressure, unscrewwed the filter from the filter housing. Applied skim of vasaline both sides of the rubber washer and screwed filter back into housing and put it back under sink. JOB DONE. Water tastes great again.

Very good filter first one lasted about four months but i have still got a lead pipe to the house.Easy to change filter element water is very clear and tastes good I would recomend this filter.

I have been using this water filter system for a number of years and I am very happy with it. Recently one of the filters gave trouble in that a small quantity of sediment from the filter appeared in a vessel being used and on notifying Pozzani it was replaced without any fuss. The quality of the filtered is excellent.
