The Doulton Supercarb filter is a compatible cartridge, specially designed for the Franke Triflow and Uniflow products. Carron systems are also manufactured by Franke, and they share the same cartridge design, hence this is also an ideal replacement for the entire Tri-Pure range.
The Supercarb is a three stage ceramic cartridge that combines the efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon. If you are looking for a Franke cartridge that specifically reduces heavy metals (such as iron/lead) please refer to the ultracarb cartridge which costs just £22.85.
It is fully compatible with the Carron Phoenix Tri-Pure range including the Crystal systems.
- Stage 1
- Doulton Supercarb Ceramic which provides genuine sub-micron filtration, reducing bacteria, cysts and turbidity.
- Stage 2
- The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self-sterilizing properties.
- Stage 3
- An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds.
