NSA filters can be difficult to find - we get many customers each week asking for replacement cartridges or compatibles and we genuinely cannot source a cartridge which lasts for two years. The concept of a two year carbon filter has been long debated and in Europe 95% plus of manufacturers don't go down this path - firstly because of the concern about the sterility of the filter over time, and secondly because the economics don't justify it - if you could produce this filter it would actually be more expensive than producing four six monthly filters.

Our IX250 is essentially a permanently mounted housing which takes a cartridge inside which you replace every six months. The housing costs £39.95 including the first cartridge and subsequent cartridges cost just £12.75 each including postage.

This is easy to fit. All you need to do is shut off the water to the existing filter, remove the hoses, and plug them into the new IX250 housing. All you need is a screwdriver to fit a small bracket to the cupboard (for the housing to clip onto) and thats it - literally fifteen minutes work at the most.
