The Pozzani No10 Twin Filter system - with Arsenic and Fluoride removal is a specialist system designed for areas of the country with artifically added fluoride - this includes Birmingham, Newcastle and an area of Lincolnshire/Yorkshire stretching east/west from Scunthorpe to Doncaster and North South from Scunthorpe down to Grantham (i.e. including Lincoln itself).

The system is also ideal for reducing arsenic - which is typically not problematic, however, can sometimes be found in certain borehole water.

The first of the two cartridges, the AF600 (Arsenic and Fluoride cartridge) is based on an advanced specially coated Activated Alumina which is unique to us in the UK. Whilst regular carbon doesn't really touch Fluoride, this is specially treated material will absorb up to four times the amount of Fluoride compared to most other filters of the same size and dimensions. The AF600 has a life proportional to usage, but will typically last most customers six months.

The second cartridge, our popular BC600 will always last six months - This is a carbon based filter which will remove chlorine, dissolved organics and heavy metals BUT is ideally suited to partnering the AF600 since it can mop up any residual fluoride which does pass through.

The price of replacement cartridges is £15.95 each so you have an ongoing running cost of about £32 every six months including postage.
