Pozzani have combined a nitrate removal cartridge (NR600) with a general purpose cartridge (IX600) to achieve efficient nitrate reduction together with the reduction of chlorine, dissolved organics, heavy metals and a wide range of other pollutants.

This combination of cartridges makes our twin system one of the most cost effective methods of achieving efficient nitrate reduction and reduces many other unhealthy and unpleasant tasting chemicals and metals.

The system is plumbed-in which means it fits below your kitchen sink, however, we have designed this to be easy to install, and no cutting of existing pipework is required.

Features:

  • Cartridge contains a special anion exchange resin designed to selectively remove nitrate (No 3) and nitrite (No 2).  Removal efficiency decreases as the cartridge approaches exhaustion.  Nitrate levels over 50mg/l (ppm) will usually need more frequent cartridge changes. (High nitrate users should also consider our RO system with nitrate selective cartridges).
  • General purpose multi-stage cartridges will remove chlorine, heavy metals, dissolved organics, oestrogens, etc.  Dirt and suspended solids are removed down to 5 microns.

Delivery was prompt! Fitting, well my granny could have done it! After installation I ran a serious of test: Results: Nitrate = 0 (reduced from 40ppm+) Nitrite = 0 PH = _5 (reduced from 7.2) (not sure if that is good or bad) I have to say the water taste much better, I only wish I’d got one years ago. Little bit unsure about ph dropping to such a acidic level, I was always lead to believe calcium and magnesium was good for you, maybe someone can explain this to me? Top marks for a cheap effective way to filter water to such standards.
