This drinking water sterilizing system consists of:

• 8 watt UV System with control box and audible lamp failure alarm, mounted on a 410mm x 320mm board.
• Kitchen Spring IX250 or IX600 water filter system.

Water is firstly filtered through the Kitchen Spring IX250 or IX600 Filter System, this removes the majority of suspended solids and dissolved organics, essential for effective UV treatment.  The water is then passed through the UV chamber where ultraviolet light kills any organisms by destroying their DNA.

Features:

• UV system Lamp Failure Indicator (LFI).  Should the lamp fail, a sensing system will activate a warning indicator and an internal buzzer, along with a volt free relay contact that can be used to initiate a remote warning device
• The UV system runs on a power supply of 240V A/C
• UV chamber constructed from food grade 316L stainless steel
• The chamber incorporates a low pressure lamp contained within a high purity quartz sleeve that protects it from the liquid
• A diffuser system within the chamber ensures turbulent flow – a flow regulator is fitted as standard
• The chamber comes complete with push-fit connectors
