The Brita Maxtra cartridge is the new faster flow design used in the 2006/7 ranges of filter jug and kettle. The cartridge has an improved four stage filtration system, and contains more filter media, giving approximately 20% improved limescale reduction based on Britas lab testing.

The cartridges also effectively remove chlorine, dissolved organics and pesticides/herbicides.

We believe this to the best price in the UK - in fact - even with postage it is still much cheaper than the high street.

Please note - if you filter jug currently uses Brita Classic filters then you cannot retrofit the Maxtra into your jug - this is designed for Maxtra based products only.
