The DSS-C10 is a 10" cartridge designed to fit into existing IX600 housings. The ceramic is manufactured by Doulton/Fairey and offers absolute sub micron filtration, meaning it is certified to remove bacteria and cysts - not usually problematic, but in places where outbreaks occur or on private supplies (UV should always be used, but this is a sensible precaution for bulb failiure etc).

The cartridge is filled with granular carbon, meaning it will remove chlorine, chlorine compounds and dissolved organics.

This is a genuine Doulton/Fairey filter branded Super Sterasyl.

Cartridge life: 6 months
