The Maytag UKF7003AXX cartridge is the new replacement designed for ALL of the Maytag fridges that have internally fitting cartridges.  It is designed to be a direct replacement for the following models:

• UKF7003, UKF70003, UKF7003AXX, UKF70003AXX
• UKF7002AXX
• UKF7001AXX
• UKF6001AXX
• UKF5001AXX
• SMEG FSRA CARTRIDGE - fitted to fridge models FA561XF/SRA22B*

*Smeg cartridges are actually manufactured by Maytag Corporation.  Our cartridges will be supplied in Maytag packaging but are equal in quality and performance to Smeg branded parts.

The cartridge removes pollutants such as sediment, cysts, lead and chlorine - significantly improving the taste of mains water.

The Maytag range of cartridges are designed to be replaced every six months or when the 'replace cartridge' light comes on (if fitted).  If the fridge remains unused for any period of time greater than two weeks (e.g. moving house), the manufacturer recommends changing the cartridge.
