The Amana Clean 'n Clear WF401 water filter cartridge (part number 12527304), is the Internal fridge filter cartridge that replaces the following models:
- WF30
- WF40
- Part Nos: 12527301, 12527307, 12527309, 12388401, 12388402, 12527302 and 12527305
If your existing water filter cartridge has any of the numbers above, this is an ideal replacement offering excellent value for money.
The WF401 is certified to remove contaminents such as lead, giarda, crytosporidium, atrazine, lindane, and 2,4-D Asbestos. It also removes chlorine, which greatly improves the taste of mains water.
The cartridge is easy to install with a simple 'push-in and twist' mechanism - a procedure that can be completed in less than a minute.
The Amana range of cartridges are designed to be replaced every six months (or 1,135 litres of water) or when the 'replace cartridge' light comes on (if fitted). If the fridge remains unused for any period of time greater than two weeks (e.g. moving house), the manufacturer recommends changing the cartridge.
