The latte has become somewhat of a delicious art form with most automated machines able to produce multi-layered drinks using a combination of hot milk, coffee and frothed milk. Using clear glassware to serve these beverages has pretty much became the norm, although most taller glasses, as they are not twin-wall, have poor heat retention meaning drinks often go cold within minutes.  This arguably flattens the experience of the drink, taking something you make at home, which although looks like the barista examples you get in coffee shops, fails to deliver in reality.
