A genuine Panasonic CNRAH-257760 filter to fit fridges NR-B53V1 and NR-B54X1. This part replaces the older part number CNRBH-125950 which is now obsolete. Whilst it can be expensive, maintenance of your fridge cartridge is important in order to protect the life of your fridge and ensure it continues to operate properly. Over time block carbon contained within the cartridge can harbour bacteria. This can lead to bacterial problems within the fridge which in turn causes the dispensed water to have a foul taste.
If the filter is ineffective it can also lead to particulates getting inside the fridge supply which can occasionally cause the small solenoid valves to stick, resulting in drips on the dispenser and other such issues.
