Pozzani RIX250 Kitchen Spring Drinking Water Filter System (Hard Water Version)

The RIX250 improves more than just the taste of water, however, as its five stage filtration system greatly reduces a broad spectrum of pollutants whilst leaving the useful minerals largely intact.

The five stage filtration system is comprised of the following:

Stage One - 1 micron fabric screen

Stage Two - Lower bed compacting plate with screen

Stage Three - Multi-media filter bed for chlorine, metal and hardness reduction

Stage Four - 1 micron secondary filtration screen

Stage Five - High quality 1 micron carbon block for chlorine and dissolved organic chemical removal and final polish.

The system has been thoroughly tested with all components Water Research Centre listed and BS6920 conforming. Installation is simple and maintenance of the system is easy; the cartridge only requires changing once every six months. The cartridge itself is glue-less and pulls apart meaning it can be separated into recyclable components at the end of its service life and disposed of in your weekly recycling bin.

This water filter removes up to 95% of most heavy metals, including lead, aluminium, iron, copper and cadmium, as well as removing up to 90% of dissolved organic material such as pesticides, herbicides and oil residues. Chlorine removal is excellent at up to 99%, which is why the odour and taste of the water is significantly improved.
