The IX250P/IX230P-UC cartridge has a 4 stage filtration system.
The suffix P designates the addition of an anti-scale stage which reduces the presence of limescale deposits in very hard water areas.
Stage 1: Ceramic filtration medium (1 micron) eliminates 99.8% of bacteria and 98% of suspended solids.
Stage 2: Carbon of high quality with special silver impregnation dramatically reduces chlorine and dissolved organic pollutants such as agro-chemicals, solvents, THM's, TCE's, PCB's, etc.
Stage 3: Ion Exchange system specific to heavy metals dramatically reduces lead, aluminium, copper, mercury, cadmium, iron, etc.
Stage 4: Block carbon ultra-efficient stage further reduces chlorine, dissolved organic matter and particulates, finally polishing the water.

. First cartridge was fine.
. Second one, the screw part snapped off when installing it, rendering it unusable.
. Third one, the whole plastic part came away from the filter stone, rendering it unusable.
. Fourth time lucky, hopefully (had it 3 weeks now with no problems!)

All orders placed before 12:30pm will usually be dispatched the same day, Monday to Friday. Any orders placed after this time will be dispatched the next working day. Orders placed between 12:30pm Friday and 12:30pm Monday are dispatched on Monday.

Orders are sent via Royal Mail. Please allow 2 to 5 working days for your order to arrive. We reserve the right to upgrade high-value orders to a courier service of our choice for insurance purposes, usually DHL or Parcelforce.

In some instances, the fulfilment of our products may be handled by a third party, usually where bespoke packaging or specialist courier handling is required and suitable provisions are already in place with either the manufacturer or national distributor.
These orders will still ship via next-day courier; however, the cut-off times for same-day dispatch may vary depending on the supplier’s location.
In line with distance selling under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 calendar days after receipt of your goods to return them to us if you have changed your mind for any reason
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. You are responsible for paying all postage costs associated with returning the item to us.
